Jag heter Eric i kommer fran Güstrow i tyskland...

Unfortunately that's all i can remember from my swedish course at evening school so i hope no one is bothered when i write in English

I am the founder and webmaster of Honda-MV, the one and only honda community in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, the region in north-east Germany and since I'm interested in Sweden (since approx. 4 or 5 years) and Honda (2 years) I regularly visit your homepage.
Now I thought it's about time to register and write my first post here.

Honda-MV wants to greet the Honda Performance Club Sweden and looks forward a nice friendship between our Communities due to our same topic of interest: Honda!

According your questions:

Because we are a group of interest (interest-community!?), and not a club, it is hardly to define "member" and so we can just give out the approx. count of members.

Our "core" is about 20 up to 25 member and when we count in the people, coming to events near their hometown and visiting the homepage randomly we could get over 50 members shortly. But i think it's better to stay with 20-25 [img]http://www.hondaklubben.com/forum/style ... >/wink.gif[/img]

I've been to Sweden last year, to Jönköping to tell it exactly and it was so much fun that i intend to settle over to sweden after finishing schol

Yes, sounds weird being 18 and founder of a honda club, but i tell the whole story:

Years ago i was fanaticly addicted to BMW.
But time comes and my mind has grown up to look for all other kinds of cars and finally i fell in love with Honda.
Now, searching for someone near me, i found some people in a german honda-forum, who came from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
As i found out, it is a group meeting randomly in the year, i came to the conclusion to bring them more together and i started to create a website. At first there was a lot of scepsis of course but on and on more people put trust into me and after meeting personally at one of our now monthly events, there was such a big motivatio around that we grew up to a, for our region, large community --> in just one year.
Well, you see i started organizing such things with 16, so i hope no one is bothered because of my young age. We have older person (30+),too and all come along with me so i think we should have no problems.

Yes, what else could i tell you?

The main type of Honda we have, is the Civic, through all generations.
But of course we can offer CRX, CRX del Sol Targa an Integra Type-R a Honda Legend (don't know the international name.. TSX? HSX?), etc [img]http://www.hondaklubben.com/forum/style ... /smile.gif[/img]
What we can also be proud of, is our Civic EE9 VTi Race Car, just prepared for 1/4-mile races.

plastic windows, an empty interieur, changed air-intakes etc. pushes the car up to 180PS, all naturally aspirated tuning and an approx. weigth of 700kg. [img]http://www.hondaklubben.com/forum/style ... /smile.gif[/img]
Well, for turbofanatics or so it sounds not that fast, but we are able to race 14.1xx or 13.9xx times at the 402 meters.

Wow...700KG in a Civic EE9, that's very little. "Our" Hamed has driven 12.8s @ 402m in a Civic EE9 with a Integra Type-R enginge though, you need to practice some more [img]http://www.hondaklubben.com/forum/style ... >/wink.gif[/img]

One thing I would like to ask you:

Do you have any specific and fix meeting place and date/time?

I have summer holidays and 4 1/2 weeks left so maybe I just jump onto a ferry (Rostock is 60km far away only) and come up to Trelleborg....

For example we have no fixed meeting point, but we organize meetings every month in a rotation system, for example in April in Rostock go bowling, in May we would meet in Güstrow go go-karting and in June we meet on an old military airport due to an all car tuner meeting.


So how do you meet? regionally? or at a big honda meeting or on trackdays?

I could recomend the meetings at the drag-strip in Malmö. It's called Meca Raceway and some of the members here usualy drives there and there are lots of other nice cars to.
The meetings take place every wednesday evening.

The best thing you can do is to come to a big event like the Dragdays, or what you want to call it. There is an event in Gothenburg on the dragstrip the 16th of July where a large amount of members will be, one of them is me [img]http://www.hondaklubben.com/forum/style ... /smile.gif[/img]

We do have smaller gatherings region by region but you don't get to meet that much people, maybe 2% of the members or something, so I would recomend you to come to Säve Dragway in Gothenburg Next Weekend if you have time [img]http://www.hondaklubben.com/forum/style ... /smile.gif[/img]

this weekend we have a germany-meeting in berlin. we'll see. hope this will be great and then, checking finances if i am able to manage it to come to those trackdays.
