Anyone seen or knows of a Honda Odyssey that has been successfully imported to Sweden?

That's good news. Any idea how easy they are to have serviced, repaired and availibility of parts?
Thanks...

As easy as any Honda sold in Sweden...
Maybe you have to wait for certain spareparts a day longer than usual but that´s about it.
Depending on were you are located, or going to move to, a Honda dealer worth calling in Sweden is Rosenholtz in Stockholm.
They help you with what you want and what parts you want..
Edit: There are a few MDX rolling around in Stockholm..

I contacted Rosenholtz and the guy I spoke to was extremely positive. Essentially "Just take it to Sweden, well take care of it for you". Definately good news.
One thing though, any feel for the demand for say a five year old Honda Odyssey in Sweden? Do you think I'll be able to get something for it five years down the road?? Maybe another question for Rosenholtz.

Hi,
Just an update on this topic. We finally decided to move back to Sweden in October 2007 (2 years after my original posting above) and we took our Honda Odyssey back with us. There were no major issues with importing the car since it was regarded as flyttgods. The only hiccup was when one of the bilprovning engineers drove the car off the lift during the registration besiktning :shock1: fortunately no damage!
Good news is that I am currently getting much better fuel economy here in Sweden than I got back in Texas. I am averageing 1.1 L/10km, back in the US I was averaging 1.4L/10km. Better fuel, different driving conditions, not having to use the A/C in the winter, etc., etc...Anyway, whatever the cause is I am happy with this as this was one concern with bringing the big mini-van back with us.
