Hello everyone!
Hope this forum is still alive.
I'm moving from Russia in January next year for a permanent stay. And I want to bring my car with me.
The main question is what difficulties should I expect from Motor vehicle inspection? Also, I'm thinking about temporary registration for the first period but then I'll need to make all official.
About my car:
Honda Prelude BB6 1997 with some modifications. Build for time attack and weekend driving.
Specs :
H22a stock (swapped)
Custom made coil pack retrofit
PDE Euro R intake manifold
Fujisubo Legalis R exhaust manifold
Custom made 60mm exhaust system
300mm front braking discs
Modified upper control arms for changing camber
Tein super street damper coilovers (modified spring F 14 kg/mm / R 7 kg/mm)
After reviewing specs I'm thinking is this possible at all to import this type of car? I really love my car. As a last resort, I'm ready to visit race tracks using a tow trailer.

Hi and welcome to Hondaklubben!
With that spec I see no real difficulties in registering it in Sweden.
Were in Sweden are you moving to?

Great news.
I'm moving to Malmö!
I worried about my loud exhaust and some aftermarket parts.. Moreover, I read some info about that I may need some kind of certificates for all tuning parts like coilovers.

You might need a new rear muffler to keep it quiet at the registration but there should not be much hassle with upgraded brakes and suspension.
