Honda N360 från 1967

In March 1967 the N360 mini sub-compact's 4-stroke twin-cylinder 354cc engine revved to a resounding 8,500rpm and produced 31bhp. It had front-wheel drive, did 71mph and was available with a 4 speed constant mesh transmission. Honda intended it for young Japanese car-buyers trading-up from motorcycles. It arrived just in time for the 1960s minicar boom.

N360 saloon, Honda's first mass-produced car and first with front wheel drive, has space-saving, transverse, lightweight, 2-cylinder, aluminium engine.
